BiHand Sweaters is an exciting line of designer's handknit or crochet silk or cotton sweaters with fancy stitches. It also has exclusive carved bone or wooden butons to complement the designs.
Size: 2 sizes - S/M & M/L (a small quanity in ONE SIZE).
Fiber Content:
Silk: 80% Silk - 20% Nylon (for better shape)
Cotton - 100% Cotton (smaller quantity available.)
Characteristics: Made of silk noil yarn, these sweaters are not shiny but look more like cotton except they are softer and lighter weight. Knitted in thicker yarn, they are more "chunky" than the machine knit sweaters on the market. The small quantity of cotton sweaters are hand knitted with 100% cotton. Most of them also have hand crocheted trims for the edges.
The Knitters: About half a century ago, women in a rural village of southern China took up knitting in order to supplement their meager farming income. Today, this prosperous region is renowned for its hand knit/crochet work. BiHand sweaters, designed in the U.S., were made by these skillful artisans.
Buttons: Our designers take special care for the buttons. Because we couldn't find the ones they needed on the market, we specially commissioned a jewelry factory in China to produce these hand carved and vintage look bone buttons.
